My Encounter with the Sun is an original children’s story written in English and French and illustrated with prints of original watercolors painted by the author.  The book tells the inspiring story of the friendship between a young girl artist and her mentor, the sun. The young girl learns about life and art during her many encounters with the sun. The story and pictures can be interpreted at many levels. The book is intended for a broad audience including young children and adults.
